i miss the chris one

i am lonely. i miss the chris one. he hasn't been around. tonight i sat by the tv and waited for the zombies to come on, but they never came on. lisa is here, but she was busy in the kitchen and pretty much ignored me. she patted me on the head a few times, but that's nothing! chris plays with me! lisa is always doing something and i can't hang out with her unless she's in the bed. in the bed is good because she likes it there and stays there a long time, especially in the morning.

i hope he comes back soon. i want to watch the zombies and play with feather thing and play and play!

stupid hallie has been hogging the computer lately. i wanted to come on and say hi but the last two times we got the computer away from the humans she got it first. i tried to complain but she just stared and me until i gave up and went away. now hallie is somewhere else and lisa is supposed to be working, but she isn't and is just drinking coffee and rubbing her eyes, so when she went to get more- booyah! my computer!!!!

i don't get the humans fascination with the computer really. at first i thought i'd like it alot- it has a mouse attached! but the mouse doesn't really do anything, except when i knock it onto the floor and it shoots a little red light around. now thats cool! lisa likes to make the computer play music. sometimes at night she lights the candle in the office and makes the room smell good and she keeps the lights dim and the computer plays music and she types and types and types. that's nice. i catloaf on the floor. it is all chill and good.

hallie likes the shelves so i thought i'd say i like them too! see here i am sitting on them!! they aren't as comfy as the futon, but they are a different place to sit. hallie likes to get up on the high shelves, but that is too much effort.

lisa says that Company is coming over next week- ladies! do you think they will pet me? maybe they will pet me? do you think they will? maybe I can get in their lap. last time they came over i loved it. they are so nice and one smelled like dog and I wanted to go home with her. but i like it here. i have it good. there are windows to sit in and foods to eat and two humans to pet me.

i like the Chris one. he sits in the pink chair and watches these great movies lately. i like to watch them. they have zombies. i like zombies. i bet i could chase them! it wouldn't take too much to catch them- they don't move very fast! they might stink once i got them though. hummm. maybe better to watch them on tv.

okay i'm hungry and i need a snack so i have to go. BYE!!!

We got some shelvez.

Recently, the humans brought in some new shelves. I didn't like it when they brought them here, because they brought strange people with them and there was a lot of noise and moving around, and I had to go spend some time in my undisclosed location.

However, the strange people went away and now I have a lot more places to sit! First I sat on this one:

And then I sat on this one and took a bath. Baths are much better if you take them in high places:

And after my bath, I did some catloafing:

Then I went to catloaf on the shelf in the hall, which is the old shelf that the humans moved to make room for the new shelf:

But then stupid Henry came along and bothered me. Stupid cat.

The new shelves are great. I love them!

Treat Scammer

If there is one thing I love more than hiding in my undisclosed location, it's treats. Sweet, beautiful, luscious cat treats. I love Feline Greenies, I love the Goodlife Recipe and I especially love it when Lisa buys treats at a place that does not have the usual brands and I end up with Whisker Lickins. Mmm-MMM. (You realize those are like kitty Cheetos, don't you?)

Every morning, I wake up and I look forward to the treats. The male human gets up real early and I wait for him outside the bathroom door while he takes his shower, just in case he might forget about me. He gives treats to me while he makes the coffee. And then he leaves and I wait for Lisa to get up. It takes a long time for her to get up. She is so slow. Sometimes I have to go stand on top of her to encourage her to get up. Sometimes I have to knead and knead and dig my claws in a little bit. Sometimes that works, but sometimes she rolls over and I fall off the bed. Humph. I wait and wait, and as soon as she turns off that buzzing thing next to the bed for the five hundredth time, she gets up. I chase her into the kitchen and I wait by the treat drawer. Sometimes she'll do something else first- fill up her water bottle and put it in the fridge, move the chairs under the kitchen table, turn on the computer, but if she does that, I just follow her everywhere she goes so she doesn't forget about me. I look at her with big eyes and she gives me treats.

So you see how I have this scam worked out? They both give me treats in the morning! Double treats! I think at first they didn't realize they were both doing it, but now they do, and they still do it! I can exert such power over these humans- it's great! And I can get treats!

new stuff!!

so there is some new stuff in our house. today lisa left but chris stayed for a little while and then lisa came to the house with all these other people and one of them gave me a toy mouse that squeaks. i really like the mouse. i played with it until i was so tired that i had to take a nap. and then i had to take another nap. i like that person, but i hear she's moving far away. i wonder if i will even see her again? i hope other people will give me toys. lisa won't buy me any lately because she says i tear them up. i don't tear them up! i am just playing! i can't help it if bits of them fall off when i play with them. so there are new tall things in the house and i think they are called shelves. they moved things yesterday to make room for them, and hallie and i could get behind and under the tv cart, so we played. we ran around it and hallie got behind and under it and lisa yelled and yelled at us. i don't know why she yells. we can't hurt the cords. hallie likes to get under the cart and i can't reach her there. i can't fit under- it's not fair. but now there are new tall shelves and i checked them out, but they are not too exciting. they smell good, like cats. i had to rub against them to make them mine.

hallie didn't like it when people were over. she hid behind the water heater. i don't know why she likes it back there so much. it's no fun. i can't reach her there either, and i can't fit back there. she just sits there and stares out with her big eyes. she finally came out though and we explored and now it's naptime.
