mmmm, plants.

Recently, I rediscovered a tasty, tasty treat- the plants that Lisa keeps on top of the kitchen cabinets. I did know that they were there, but I'd been avoiding the area for quite some time. See, once I got up there for a snack, and one of the plants, pot and all, fell from the top of the cabinets to the floor, making a loud, loud noise that I did not like at all. I was so scared. Then later that day, Chris came home from work and saw the splatted plant and dirt everywhere exploded on the floor and he make much noise with the swearing and the cursing.

Anyway, I steered clear of that for many moons, but I thought I'd take a gander up there the other day. Mmmm, I forgot how luscious, so tasty. There's this one plant with spiky leaves that is just right for chewing. I love it, even though once after I ate it, I puked.

Henry, being the copycat that he is, decided one day to go up there and check out the plants for himself. Henry is never very graceful. I swear he is really a dog. He just looks like a cat. He hauled his butt on top of the counter, then to the top of the fridge, and he might have made it up to the top of the cabinets, but he didn't stay long. He jumped back down and knocked magnets off the side of the fridge, the front of the fridge, and knocked the food processor and the top of the rice maker on to the floor when he jumped down. Lisa was home, and she came running. Boy did she yell. She yelled and yelled and yelled and then yelled some more. She picked up Henry and shook him a little bit, still yelling. I made myself scarce. Then she made this poster:

Man. I've never been so bad that she's made a poster of me before. Needless to say, Henry hasn't been back up there again. I, however, sneak up there every opportunity I can. I love those plants, especially the ones with the spiky leaves. Lisa yells at me every time she sees me up there, but I'm always too quick for her to catch me. She moved my favorite plant the other day though and I am sad. The spider plant is still up there, and it's pretty tasty, so I guess it will have to do.
